Alcorn School District
The Alcorn School District Back-to-School Professional Learning Conference is a districtwide initiative that connects educators with community partners to support professional growth, staff wellness, and student success. Since its launch in July 2021, the annual two-day conference has grown to include approximately 24 community partners who provide meals, professional learning sessions, and valuable resources for district employees. More than 550 staff members participate each year in approximately 120 breakout sessions designed to strengthen skills, knowledge, and connections with local organizations. By equipping all district employees with meaningful learning and community resources, the conference directly supports the success of the district’s approximately 3,200 students while reinforcing the district’s commitment to collaboration, communication, and continuous growth.
