Hancock High School

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence, our US history students will plan, organize, and host an American History Festival at our school. This festival will be an immersive, educational, and community-centered event designed to bring history to life through engaging activities, performances, and displays that celebrate the rich and diverse story of the United States. Schools within close proximity will also be invited to attend and bring their students, along with community groups who would like to be a part of this event. There will be exhibits set up throughout the festival to commemorate and educate on the different eras for the 250th Anniversary, along with reenactments, performances, and celebrations.
