Highland Bluff Elementary school
We are establishing a community garden at our school that will include raised outdoor beds and a commercial greenhouse to create a hands-on learning environment for students. Through this initiative, students will gain practical experience in planting, cultivating, and harvesting produce while learning about sustainability, nutrition, and environmental responsibility. The garden will also serve a greater purpose by providing fresh, healthy produce to families within our school zone who face food insecurity. This project strengthens student learning while fostering compassion, service, and meaningful community impact.
