Jefferson County High School
Our partnership with Alcorn State University and Copiah-Lincoln Community College to provide dual enrollment opportunities at Jefferson County High School has been transformative for our students and community. In a county where economic challenges are significant, this collaboration has opened doors that many families once believed were out of reach, allowing students to begin their college journeys while still in high school. Through this initiative, several of our scholars have been blessed to graduate from Jefferson County High School having already earned an associate degree—an achievement that dramatically reduces the financial burden of higher education for their families. This partnership has become a true game-changer, strengthening our school district while creating new pathways to college, career readiness, and long-term economic mobility for the students of Jefferson County.
