The i.R.O.C.K. Academy + Program is a literacy-based after-school initiative for 3rd to 5th graders at L.J. Rowan Elementary School, developed in partnership with The University of Southern Mississippi to address the unique needs of students and families. This program empowers both students and families through comprehensive literacy support, engaging STEAM activities, family literacy nights, and parent workshops. By adopting a holistic approach, it fosters social-emotional learning, financial literacy, and well-rounded growth. Through collaborative family partnerships, the program shapes the next generation of learners, leaders, and thinkers.
