N.R. Burger Middle School
In Hattiesburg Public Schools, we pride ourselves in having strong, historical ties to our community and the families we serve. Over the years, we have developed very solid relationships with many community partners, and our data show that these relationships have positively contributed to the success of our schools. In this instance, N.R. Burger can be compared to the growth process of a tree, being that the roots of a tree anchor in soil and use nutrients to produce growth and development. Our community partners have nurtured us and helped us grow and develop as a healthy, productive school community. Their commitment to helping us achieve our goals is woven into the very fabric of who we are, and the many accomplishments we have attained at Burger would not be possible without our community partners; therefore, we, wholeheartedly, embrace “Partnerships Making an Impact because Together, We Grow!”
